England, for the first time

I promised my mom I would try to post something while traveling, do here it is (hi mom!!)

Old u-bahn

A common motif in u-bahn station decorating is pictures of old u-bahn stations. This one is kottbusser tor in kreuzberg!

Spreewald

This weekend we went kayaking in Spreewald. It's the source of the river spree (which runs through Berlin) and has multiple nice, rustic villages. 

I didn't get any pictures while kayaking (it's all for the best, as I tipped over getting back in and would have dialed my phone) but herd are a few in the town of Schlepzig:
