Brazilian Bear

Or maybe not Brazilian, but found near the Brazilian Embassy (where the Diplomatic Choir is currently rehearsing).

Berlin mural

I came across this mural painted with lots of Berlin landmarks - there was one from most neighborhoods. I didn't get the best angles, but hopefully you get the idea:

Also, here is another bear:

And sculpture!

Sad bear

This particular bear is a little sadder than most of the Bears around the city.

Kaiser's

The closest branch of our main grocery store, Kaiser's. I usually zoom by it on the tram, but today was one of the few days it was faster to walk down to the s-bahn station.

If you look closely, you can see the bear on top!

Double Bears

I've mentioned that these bears are all over Berlin, and here are two examples. First, a bear advertising the "surf and turf" restaurant behind it..

And then, a bear holding up a hotel sign:

There are a few that I keep meaning to photograph... hopefully soon!

Touristing in Charlottenburg

As did this bear:

BVG Bear

I meant to post this last night, but collapsed after my travels. This is one of the Berlin bears, this time with a transit map!

Berliner bear

Bears are a symbol of Berlin, and these particular bears are all over, just painted differently depending on who put them up and where they are. This particular bear is at the Philippine Embassy of Berlin, which is currently where my choir is rehearsing.
