This is the other food aside from Currywurst that is most closely associated with Berlin. It is very similar to Giros, although the pita-like bread uses is generally freshly baked and vastly superior to its processed US counterpart. Today I had my first one for dinner, and at a price of 2€ I can see it becoming a regular staple.
