Cleaning the new apartment

Our new apartment is freshly renovated, but whoever renovated failed to clear away the last layer of sawdust and other cleaning grit - and the windows are only sort of clean. Once it got too hot to work today (my brain shuts of at about 90 F), I instead embarked upon the first cleaning spree at our new place. Here's one of the two larger rooms in the late afternoon sun:
