We essentially spent all day at IKEA. They offer a flat rate for delivery above a certain amount - and our apartment is entirely unfurnished. And I mean truly german unfurnished - we bought kitchen counters and a few appliances, in addition to the essential bed, couch, and desks. We get our delivery on Monday - and we should have our cube from the US this next week as well. I hope you like posts about furniture assembly and unpacking...
And of course, we took the tram to IKEA - but fortunately it drops us of pretty nearby.
