The ten o'clock card

Berlin transit (the BVG) has many inventive ways to pay your fare (if you look at the English version of the webpage, it only has tourist stuff - the German version has ALL the options). My option this month is the ten o'clock card - as in, I can ride transit all month, but only after 10 am. It is a full 20 euro cheaper than the standard monthly card.

It's actually kind of perfect for me (I'm still working from home this month) and I am perpetually amused that I'd have to pay extra to ride early.
